Ove had a blue tit laying an egg a day in a plant pot but on day 5 we had a freak hail storm and giant hailstones which filled her next with a block of ice and she stopped laying and hasn't returned. It's been 5 days and she's definately n9t returned.
I dont like the thought of the eggs just failing so how can I go about incubating then and seeing if they will hatch?
Can they go in a normal egg incubator?
It is sad to see a failed nest but it is against the law to interfere with wild birds' nests or take eggs ... quite apart from the fact that these eggs have been subjected to cold from the hail and are now 5 days old they likely wouldn't be viable!

Thanks so much ah she hadn't finished laying before the hail and awful 2 days of weather. But her building a nest in a plant pot was a bit tricky. But no worries I will leave it to nature so sad
Also the ‘then what’ to consider, even if eggs were viable and could be incubated somehow.
No!
