The Starlings have been very successful (which is brilliant), and this year we have between 40-50 fledged young in the garden. I love them dearly, but wonder if they will leave the garden soon and go out into the fields for the rest of the summer. They are scoffing a 12kg sack of calci worms each week and it's getting a teeny bit costly.
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
No your just making it too easy for them lol..I feed mine for about a week and that's plenty to give them a good start and that's about as much noise I can put up with from them despite them being adorable lol
Lots of natural food around just now they just need to go looking for it ;-)
