Saw this little guy yesterday- wondering how his beak got like that and if he'll be okay.
Hi Beth, the bird has what is called an overgrown mandible, where the beak is not the correct size and is misshapen. I have seen posts and pictures on here where birds have managed to feed and be okay, it is amazing how that can adapt. Hopefully the BB wil do okay.
