Guineafowl in Garden

Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, but for some months my neighbour's guineafowl and turkeys have been getting in the garden. The fowl has now started nesting (she laid around 30 eggs).

When we found the nest whilst gardening, we called round at the neighbours and a while later he came around. He told me that guineafowl are "wild fowl" and if I hit them with the strimmer when cutting, "don't fret about it". When I told him that I didn't want to go around killing animals, he got aggressive. He said they're wild, and it's not his problem.

He took away the eggs, leaving the mother hen looking bereft and confused for hours.

I don't want them in my garden, for one reason being they're noisy. Is he right or should I take this further? The other issue is the fox could have the fowl and turkey, which seems cruel.
