Blue Tits have built nests and successfully fledged in one of my nest boxes for a number of years, but for the last two years the complete brood (8-10) have died within a couple days of hatching. The nest box is monitored with a camera and light. What is the the most likely cause - Weather/temperature conditions, food availability?
I'm not able to give an answer, but I am curious at the camera setup, particularly using I presume the light is artificial?
