Do female swans leave a nest of hatching cygnets

Our local female swan laid a clutch of 6 eggs. 2 hatched out last night with a 3rd trying to make its way out. Today the female had left the nest and was with the cob and 2 cygnets. Shells of both hatched cygnets had been removed from the nest. The 3rd shell was still there but doesn't look right. It almost looks crushed and there was no movement on the nest. There were 3 eggs still unhatched.

Do you think the 3 eggs that are left may still hatch? She hadn't covered them with anything when she left the nest to go into the water either.
