Can anyone advise please?
As I am now putting out a wider variety of bird food, both in feeders and on the ground I have attracted rats. Just 2 but I'm sure they will tell their friends. They eat the ground food and also jump up and rip the feeders off their perches (I hook them over twigs in the plum tree).
I live in countryside so these aren't plague-ridden sewer rats (they are quite sweet actually) but I don't want to be over run with them.
I'm not going to put poison down or get the rat man in but has anyone got any ideas for what to do?
PS I know I have a cat - but you know what she's like!!!
Thanks
