We run a small farm in Bramshott near Liphook in Hampshire. For the last 10 years we have always been visited by large numbers of House Martins and many nesting sites are always used, but this year, sadly I have only seen a couple of birds and nesting sites are empty. The Autumn gathering is always a spectacular sight with literally hundreds of birds preparing to leave. Does anyone know why they have not come this year?
