I had Blue Tits in my nest box, that breeded successfully. They have now all flown. Can any one let me know if I should take the old nest out of the box or leave it ? Cheers
Best just to leave it Martin. they may have another brood yet. I wouldent clean it out untill October.

Hi Martin,
It will be alright to empty the nest box now. Tit species very rarely have more than one brood, I have already started clearing my nestboxes.
I have somewhere in the region of 300+ to check, if you find any addled eggs you must destroy them. It is illegal to remove and keep them!
