We disturbed a partridge from some ground cover in our garden and when we peeked in there is a nest with about 16 eggs in it. The partridge has not returned (in about 5 days).
Anyone know what we should do?

I'm afraid there is nothing you can do. The advice is not to interfere. If the bird has abandoned the nest then the eggs are not going to hatch, especially now after 5 days. Just leave it alone. Hopefully the partridge has built another nest somewhere more private and is raising another family. Nature can be so cruel.
Do you have other birds visiting your garden you can tell us about?
