looks like a young siskin? yet
sibling & parent
Parent looks more greenfinch without yellow flight feathers.
Confirmation anyone.
Hi,
two great photos there. Those are House Sparrows (rare in places believe me!), the bottome photo its the female feeding her baby.
Hope that helps :o)
Hi LogPile
These look like chaffinches to me, especially the female feeding the chick. White wing bars are usually the giveaway sign of a female chaffinch.
I could be wrong.
Best wishes Chris

I reckon that PaulE is bang on with his answer!!
My wee siskins are very speckled and neater than your wee house sparrow. Parents very yellow, esp the male.
Lovely pics + a great wee bird to have visit!! Enjoy.

Hi Guys thanks for your accurate responses as their old man has been feeding them now which would of allieviated my dumbness.
My excuse for delay in posting was a Woodpecker feeding a youngster from the feeder, thanks again.
Thanks for posting them Log and welcome to the fourms . Hope to see more pics and posts.
