We have had a baby Heron sat on the apex of our roof for over 4 hours now. Sounds stupid but any ideas?
Blimey! - haven't a clue - but good luck with it. I guess it'll fly off to roost as dusk approaches.

Will do, although it's still up there 6.5 hours now.
Good news, it's just flown literally into a beautiful sun set. Hope it manages to find a meal before it gets too dark. It was up there for just under 7.5hours total. Wish I could stay still for that long!
