Can anyone tell me if there is anything I can do to stop birds from flying into the windows.

There are a few things you can try.......if you have blinds/nets etc.have them down or spread across your windows that they fly into......If you have any tubs with shrubs in........you could try and place them near to maybe distract them that way..........

I am afraid sometimes the little treasures still do it....and mostly get up again and fly away.but sadly some don't.

  • Hello Snowdonia

I use stickers of bird silhouettes all over the window (I think the RSPB shop sells them?), they seems to work quite well. However, I have found the best deterrent is to put up net curtains, not a choice everyone would like I know.

When it is very windy, or the sparrowhawk is around, is the only time they fly into the window now. If they are just stunned I pick them up and warm them in my hands for five minutes or so and this seems to help them over the shock and they fly away, although they probably have a bad headache poor things.

Hope this helps but I am sure other members have other solutions.

    Kind regards Jane.
