Early this morning i was checking out my feeders and a sparrow popped up on the fence for the first time and i have been trying to entice these guys for ages. But as he was about to hop onto the feeder a robin skydived onto him and he flew away and i havent seen him return yet.
Will this be enough to put him off completely or will he return??

A good idea would be to put out more food we have a robin who did the same and we destract him with other food ie mealworms and christmas cake which they love! This lets all the other birds come in to eat as well.
If you do this he will return and hopefully not be pestered by the robin, hope this helps!
