Hi Coal
I usually move my feeders depending on their usage. I regularly move the ground feeders but not by much only really when i sweep up and cut the grass.
My other feeders I will move if the starlings and pigeons are putting off the smaller birds. For example the trays that go on my pole i have taken off as when the pigeons use them the sparrows will not use the feeder. Other than that i just move poles slightly along one border so i can dig over underneath to try and keep things clean.
Hope this helps.
This picture sort of shows all the feeders in my border. I do not put any along the other side as my neighbours washing line is too close to the fence and the washing sometimes hangs over it (very annoying) but don't think they'd been be too happy with poo on it.
