I have some Robins taking a determined interest in entering my greenhouse, even when I'm in there. I'm guessing they are nesting, but don't want to lose the use of my greenhouse and risk my plants. Will I trouble them by occasionally watering my plants?
I really don't think they will be bothered. Just go in when they go looking for food. We had a wren nesting in a wall flower basket and she took absolutely no notice of us, even when we were sitting just under the nest.

Hello Herby and welcome. Your robins are probably already used to your comings and goings, so I would carry on as usual.

Thank you All, for your helpful replies. I detected absolutely no activity late yesterday afternoon, and feared that our close encounter in the greenhouse had not only surprised me, but disturbed the robins. However, I left the door slightly open over night, and am delighted to report that, not only are the skies open now over London for commercial flights, but at 7am this morning I witnessed robin flights into the greenhouse are also in operation.
This isn't the robin, but it's another small bird in my garden.

Unusual to see just one goldfinch Herby, I would guess you have a few more in your garden. Good to hear your robin is still in your greenhouse.
