Isn't he Grand!
Hey farmer, farmer, put away the D.D.T now. Give me spots on my apples, but leave me the birds and the bees, please!
Hi Teuchter
he was big, their wing span is said to be 175-195 cm (70-78")
I wanted to get a photo of him taking off but I missed it :-(
Wow Janet,
I can see your second attempt but not the first.
What a beautiful bird. You must have been amazed when you saw him. I bet you did a double take. Well captured.
Cheers, Linda.

Hi Sparrow
I have seen him fly over lots of times , but it was amazing to see him in my garden, think he was having a rest. :-)
He was there for 20mins, but he was getting mobbed by a Jackdaw.
Hi,
well his pics have gone again by 2100 saturday- weird!

There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed.
Superb photo of your latest visitor. Did he catch his dinner?
WOW! That's a brilliant photo Janet. Well done! They are magnificent to look at - but I hope he didn't catch any of your regulars.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Super photograph Janet.
Hi Janet,
