    What was the particular bird doing?

     

    YEESSSSSS ............. It is a Heron pictures - i can see the bird now fabulous!!!

    Love the way he has risen his plume on top of his head.

    Yes it was, i had see him fly over lots of times, but this was the first time he stopped to say hello.

    he was being mobed by a jackdaw!

    YESSSSSSS I can see him now - got the wrong bird eek

    The Heron is a beauty though he looks a bit flustered - a Jackdaw is small compared with him.
