I know this has nothing to do with birds, but is fox hunting with the use of hounds still banned?? I have a good reason for asking this question. I thought the ban was still in place, but it seems last weekend in a local area, a fox was killed with hounds. Can someone please let me know.

This is a sweeping generalisation!

Hi Bramble
I hear what you say, I wouldnt really do that, But feel so very angry after hearing what they did. Im not just gonna sit back and do nothing though, thats probably the exact reason why they are coming here and doing this, because I live in a little village, and I suppose people dont realise whats going on under their noses.
I know people will be devided on this subject........but surely they shouldnt be just left to get on with breaking the law, all because they enjoy doing it. Im sure I will have support of a lot of people in the village too, its just working out what to do, I am not willing to sit back and do nothing!!

I did offer a suggestion as to what you might do. Hope you find a solution

Yes You did and thanks. I will find out tomorrow who our wildlife officer is, and see what he/she may say about it. Thanks sarah

Hi Becky
Just report to police and RSPCA and you've done your bit.
Not sure but foxes could have cubs now.
Please keep out of trouble you could put yourselfe at risk, as someone has commented there are some nasty people out there.
