I had see this programme advertised in the newspaper but it is still good to have a reminder here.
I've just finished watching the first episode. Fantastic filming and determination from the presenters.
I saw animals, birds and bugs I had never even heard of. A Clouded Leopard! What a beautiful animal.
As usual with this sort of programme I was fascinated, repulsed and very moved. Who could not feel sick at the treatment of Tigers by the the inhuman criminals who poach them for money!!!!!
I look forward to the next episode.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the programme with all its good times and pitfalls. The sad moments where there for all to see too.
For anyone to sit in a make shift home high up in a tree with a vicious thunder and lightening storm along with hailstones goes without saying, and what a scary experience to go through!
Loved the additional other animals and the Pygmy Kingfisher was a beauty along with the other birds shown too. too many other creatures to mention.
I felt sorry for Alan who is very ill with luekenia (sp) - I feel for the guy!
Felt sorry for Gordon getting more and more breathless as he climbed to higher height to set up camera to check the whereabouts of the Tigers.
Great to see that all the hard work paid of, and the illusive Tiger has been found close to the camp.
Looking forward tomorrow for the next episode

It was an excellent programme, but I saw the interview yesterday morning on Breakfast TV and they showed excerpts, which were not part of tonights programme, so I feel they let the viewer see too much of what is to come.
Part 1 of this programme won't be shown in Scotland until Thursday of this week, at 9pm. Sky+ and series link set already...

Brenda: It is a super programme and I did not realise it has been trailered on another programme at all. Sometimes we are better kept in the dark about a particular programme to get a larger audience.
Alan: I noticed that it is not shown in Scotland - should have said that. Can you use the BBC I-player link I have set up on my first post? Does it work at all?
I also saw it last night & I am looking forward to the second part - I think it's tonight in the London area.
The cats were marvellous but George McGavin's insects were also unbelievable - like the giant dung beetle and the moon moth!

The other cats other than the tigers where beautiful and there seems to be one or two of thme
The Moon Moth was quite a specimen - beautiful creature
It was a bit lacking tonight, though the canoeing through the rapids was a little hair raising and that was a little on the edge of the seat stuff going on As for those leeches yuk yuk yuk!!!! shudder...... the way they attacked human flesh. Poor George an all his wounds. Great news about the tigers and they seen to be quite stable to a point and it will be good if there is enough information to protect the species now. Cannot wait until the last episode and see what the results are Regards Kathy and Dave
