Again, probably the wrong forum but not sure where else I can put this! It is wildlife on the web, but still, not moving!!
It's the winners of the above mentioned competition! I love wolves to the winner caught my eye!!

Plenty more in the galleries to browse through too!

Hi MarJus
Oh dear now that is very embarassing to have and them be stripped of your prize.
Still all the photos are fabulous, and the Yellow Hammers deserve the prize just as much
Regards
Kathy and Dave
Yes MarJus, I had read about it in my husbands photography magazine and found it very disappointing that the winner had cheated.
What terrible news and what a cheat! I'm sure all the other photographers that entered will be feeling terribly disappointed at discovering that the winner is nothing but a low-life cheat.
Millie & Fly the Border Collies
It is a huge disppointment for many people
It was said that the Wolf in the picture is very rare in the wild, and unlikely to pose so perfectly as it did for the picture
Too think that the wolf was located in a Zoo, and the picture was taken like a photoshot goes without saying - I'm speechless.
What is even more sad is that the prize won't now be awarded to any other entry because they now know the names of the photographers and the judging is supposed to be "blind". So one stupid idiot has ruined it for all the entrants!
I quote:- Organisers told AP that it would be unfair to choose a new winner as the competition judging process is 'blind'. The museum spokeswoman said: 'As the photographers are now known, as well as all the details about the images, it would be impossible to make an objective choice of an overall winner and it would be unfair to all the photographers who entered the competition.'
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
If I remember correctly, wasn't there a Runner Up ? I thought the award should go to that person.
Hi Brenda
Yes, quite, I think that the person who came second should get the prize.
Would that not be the usual way to deal with any competition winners?

I saw the exhibition at the Natural History Museum in the Summer. Amazing large scale. I'm disappointed about the wolf photo set up, that was my favourite photo, however it still is a fantastic photo set up or not. I really wish I'd have bought the book, couldn't be bothered to carry it around London all day. Will have to look online for it or get it when I go to London at half term ( get it at the end of the day).
