The adult male is the same male (he is ringed) but we think the female is a new bird as she doesn’t have the aberrant white feather on her head which has been present in previous years.
3 eggs have been laid which is a normal clutch size for hobbies.
Egg 1, 2nd June 6:47 pm
Egg 2, 5th June 6:46 am (60 hours)
Egg 3, 7th June 8:04 pm (61.25 hours)
Hatching should start approx. end of the first week in July
Hasty snaps to start us off:
THREE eggs:

This season the cam has been enhanced with nighttime IR, hooray!
Mama tucked for the night:

Thank you Scylla, let us hope for success this season

If we can not have the same trauma as the other year that will be a good thing

These 2 are too quick for ID portraits! Needless to say, I can't tell the difference unless they stand side-by-side, if he's not showing his anklet
.I collaged her because of the sun. WildlifeWindows think she is new this season as she doesn't have a white feather somewhere.
The male, they are pretty sure is the same as last season:

Not long after midnight, something woke up MrsHobby - I couldn't hear much besides a couple of slight pops, then fluttering that might have been the cam system :-/
It was a wet 'n windy night but a dry day:
Poor parent has been getting soaked, I wish they'd put a brolly up. Then, at 06:30 this morning, the cam went down. WildlifeWindows think they know what the problem is and will try to fix it this morning.
A big OOPS! Last night I had to record the long hatch period from rollback, due to forgetting to keep checking the cam - and then I totally forgot to post it !!! I am your most unreliable servant

Breakfast - hardly! Here's Mama demonstrating that she's new to this game. It'll get better, for sure... probably, hopefully
That was the most excruciating 'feed' I have seen in a very long time Scylla!! hope she learns pdq!

I didn't think it got better yesterday and I had to give up re videos - editing in general has been getting very burdensome at the best of times and I just couldn't cope with the responsibility of making an accurate record in a watchable length. Well I know what I mean.
There was much concern on the Chat - including that the new nest is too deep for Mama to reach down to the eyas. However, WildlifeWindows eventually posted:
All great stuff. Hope they do well.

A better day for #1 (eventually!) and eyas #2 hatches
Eyas #2 responding to Mama's calls at feeding time - it didn't get fed, but I thought it was a good example of their instinct:

A little mystery solved this (sopping wet) morning:
