My apologies if a 2024 thread has been started, but the search box isn't performing well, again. I know there was a 2022 & 2023 thread, neither are coming up!
The weather is getting warmer, and sunnier, and I'm seeing an increasing number of damsels and dragons now the sun is out, so time to start a new thread.
The photo is from August 2019, and not this year, though I know some of you already have some photos ready to share, so please do.

Male - Halfway through a snack...:
I think your unknowns are Common Blues, Snappy... If you zoom in on left hand female one bottom of 2nd to last segment is a teeny tiny "spur". Must be pretty fresh, not yet coloured up
Thanks PB, I have changed the label. I need to get a better angle on them, top down for the patten and a true side on.... Not asking much eh
Great set of pics Snappy.
Enjoying all the lovely photos - I saw two different dragonflies yesterday at Manor Wildlife Park but other than saying one was blue and one was green I'm afraid I couldn't tell you any more than that!
Here is a photo I managed of the green one, from quite a distance and cropped down:
Emperor(ess) Dragonfly MrsEd... a bit of a beast!
Thanks PB - even when they were whizzing around you couldn't help but notice them!
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Can't work out what make it is Linda, but nice shot :o)
It's very green ... is it an Emerald variety? Sorry don't know much about them
