Link to last season's thread.
Last season 3 eyases were ringed AJ, AK and AL - we think AK was lost thru injudicious branching, I'm not sure if we heard of a definite outcome.

First hatch this season was yesterday morning, I'm too late for it.
Artificially enhanced because it's rather dim still - there's no IR on this overnight.
IMAGICAT
The stream was restored, the chicks were dozy (fro rollback)
But I can't download it because it's gone haywire:
Cam restored, smudge gone. From rollback - a wingercising eyas, and they're both fine:
27 July
They're doing great!
28 July
The start of the day:
31 July
Quote:
We think one is a male (BF) and the other a female (BD)…..although it is difficult to determine with certainty the sexes of all hobby chicks at ringing. We expect the chicks to take their first flights at about 32 days old.
The two eyases are doing really well - last night they had their final feed around 20:10 - here they were during the late afternoon/evening:
02 August
Another good day for the 2 eyases:
07 August
I uploaded this last night but it got forgotten.
This covers 03 to 07 August, by which day there were long periods of empty nest and a parent had been bringing food with no incomers to feed, so I am deeming it "fledge day" even tho one or both eyases may be in the branches (which are sparser this season than last, if recollection is correct).
I meant to put a lot more captions but had to let it go, and serve me right someone's thumbs-downed it
This is my final post of the season.
