In 2022, four Barn Owlets, deemed to be 3 females and 1 male (the youngest), successfully fledged.
Here they are at their ringing day on 7.7.22
Hopefully, the resident pair will successfully breed in the nest box again this season.
Hello little lady
Oh, those eyes...
Just came across her

Awake & appears to be aware of something outside, maybe her beloved?
Oh my! What was that all about? Female went up to the exit, then jumped back in.
The odd feather floated
She began to call
And assumed her mating position
Male entered and she attacked him and he backed up! (This was not a friendly kissy episode!)
She reversed to the back of the box. It was definitely our male!
He left the box
Think I missed a mating, but she's still calling ... wish there was sound

So that was why feathers were flying! Missed that whilst uploading last clip!
She's went up to the exit again and immediately jumped back in
More floating featers
I wonder if she mistook our male for A. N. Other?
