As with the 2020 season, barn owls did not use the box for breeding in 2021, will this year be different?

Nothing showing on chat to say that anything 'untoward' has happened but am only seeing three (clearly) at the moment
I took this at 17:56. Is this the 'missing' one? Though it only looks small
All 4 looked well in Wendy's vid this morning (thanks, Wendy!)
The cam is very 'juddery'
The youngest on the left? Oh for scroll back!!!!!!!!! Edit: The one standing at the back - I'm unsure if that is the edge of a facial disc on its left or the top edge of its wing catching the light
Concerning...
I've had a reply on chat after mentioning only 3 owlets on view...
'I agree, I think the third one is missing and she was so sweet . Also, they keep watching the entrance. Although they may be expecting food it looks different. Sometimes they recede as if frightened and other times the largest one seems to attack something at the entrance. Could there be some kind of predator?'
This happened a short time ago. One of the biggies approached the pop hole, possibly thinking it was a food drop. It went on the defensive before retreating. The one at the back was very much on alert and frightened.
I'm not liking this...
Oh No !!! is this just one... I still cant get Chat. EDIT jusr seen movement, from the corner by its feet >>> so that is TWO......
Ok, all breathe a sigh of relief
From chat...
'Joni Sally • 2 minutes agoIt was one of the largest who was gone and he/she just stumbled back in.'
So one of the biggies had ventured outside of the box! Phew, thank goodness for that!!
Thanks Sandra.....Still not happy...and dont understand why Chat is not viewable. for me Doh!!
Hazy three
This pic copied over from chat showing all 4 together again, Kate. The youngest is close against the side, to the left of the biggie at the front
Perhaps the biggie went outside again when you took your pic above. With chat, sometimes it doesn't load up straight away but does show after one or two refreshes of the page
The one at the front eating prey
