As with the 2020 season, barn owls did not use the box for breeding in 2021, will this year be different?

Oh dear , is this our first casualty.
That could be part of an egg shell due to comments on chat saying/showing the female eating the contents of an egg - the one that was badly marked as far as I can tell.

The male has brought in a couple of deliveries too, it was the original poorly eyed male and not a two-eyed one as has been suggested.
