Unfortunately, Barn Owls did not use this nest box last season. Here's hoping that this very much bonded pair of Barn Owls, who have been frequenting the box recently, decide to take up residency in 2021 and raise a healthy brood of owlets.

There is a lot of snow there. Hope they manage to find some food. Perhaps the people there will release a few mice inside the barn. Not likely, but I wish.

This is just the time that we would like to see supplementary feeding of Barn Owls as they do in America but I fear that the rules will not be changed until there's an extinction threat!

Wendy, Is supplementary feeding prohibited in the UK?! If so, I'd like to have a word with whoever dreamt up that idea. While I can see reasons to control that, I really cannot believe that it is the law to prohibit it.

Thanks, Wendy, but it is a shame about failing to persuade folk to do supplemental feeding. But I'll have to read it tomorrow (later today actually!). I'm off to bed now--had jab one Sunday morning and did not sleep well the night before. Feeling a bit chilled so off to warm up under the duvet.

Yep she slowly becoming aware that tis dawning CHOL:):)

Ann had.oxford.Jab last week and like you after several hours,was chilled.. to the core,almost flu like,without temp, and dreadful Migraine.lasted 24 hours,Like Wendy I have had various allergies,but they said would not give me the Pfizer,but Oxford OK.... Much better now,and small price to pay fro protection from the C19.
