Peregrine Falcon, Orange NSW - 2020

I came across this view via a link on chat but it was in the early hours when I shouldn't have been awake & I honestly thought it was the Melbourne cam they are constantly referring to ... couldn't find the link today so was waiting to see if it was posted again! Tried to take a screenshot but it didn't work!

It's confirmed that Nestcam2 has no sound.

Here were the 3 eggs at something-past-7 this morning:

Some interesting looking marks there Scylla ... was most surprised to read in comments that Cilla thinks we are all obsessed with looking for pips & cracks ... her view is that they'll either hatch or they won't!

Regarding the different nest view, there was chat a while back about works on the tower (subsequently delayed until the end of the season) and the installation of a new nest camera. Perhaps the different view seen was a trial of the new camera. I note that the nest cam view is currently the original one. Ian

 Nestcam2 is on Cilla's channel, Ian, not Scott's, and it's still transmitting according to me.  Maybe it was down when you checked, it's been buffering a lot.  In fact it's black with buffer circle now, but my downloader seems to be carrying on with it.  This was less than an hour ago.

 

Read on chat that pip has been detected, also cheeping from egg heard ... but not by me!

Thanks for the link for Nestcam 2. Lovely view of Diamond wriggling, turning around, settling again intermittently and dozing. Great clear picture but it initially kept reverting to non-live daycam.

Am sure I heard cheeping a few minutes ago as Diamond was grinding the eggs into the gravel!
