Yes, possibly there is hay in the barn. But I would think that by now the Owls would have eaten any mice living in the barn. Or maybe not...no idea actually.

That's a good point, Ann, unless any rodents are keeping shelter in there while the weather is so cold? Would be great to have a barn cam to see what they get up to, just as BOT used to have in Cornwall.

I wonder if anyone at the farm knows if there are times when the Owls are not in the box but they might actually still be in the barn, sitting on the rafters or somewhere. As you say, Sandra, it would be good to have a camera inside the barn which can scan around the barn and also be streamed online. Perhaps they or someone (or we?) should take up a collection for another camera.
