Thank you Ann for these top tips. So far the peregrines in Kingston have been the focus of our interest because school is only a mile away. It's just wonderful that so many of them become interested in bird life through the efforts of the Monkey cheeses of this world !! ( Thank you Monkey cheese )
I will forward the links to them all tomorrow before they go home indefinitely..

Pamela, It is wonderful that your pupils are interested in the Kingston Peregrines. Monkeycheese is very knowledgeable about Peregrines and he knows even more about Robins. I expect he would be very happy to chat with you if you have not already contacted him. If you or your pupils are also interested in the Rutland Osprey Education programme, you might need to request material from Ken Davies--I do not know the procedure for accessing their material or if they would send anything directly to students or not. I've briefly met Ken (at the Rutland Osprey Project stand at Birdfiar) but we do not actually know each other, so perhaps if you contact him just say that you heard about it on the RSPB online community forum. But I believe he would be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable so please contact him. (Then report back to us, please, I'd like to know more about their programme, too, for when I next chat with other teachers and parents about it!)
