Woo Hoo! It's time for a new thread. I wonder what this new year holds in store for our birds?
At least they are starting the year with some beautiful weather. Strangely enough, so am I!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Thanks, Limpy. Looks like things are on track.
Kind regards, Ann
Empty egg shell in middle of the nestbox. Parent in lower right corner of cam view, nestling down on what? Chicks? Eggs?
The blog says first chick hatched yesterday, 25 Sept 2018.
I am not posting daily snaps on my FB page any more, I'm just checking thru what downloads I have (one or other of the cams quite often drops out) for any eyas appearances on the scrape. None so far.

This was cute:
15 Nov, 06:10hr, our beloved, noisy, parents ;-D
Unfortunately the nestcam had dropped out.

Judging by Cilla's most recent post to the project site, all seems to be going well. Since fledging, in addition to Scylla's posts here, I have only seen one on the ledge at any time. I don't look in much though & obviously from Cilla's recent project posts they are all still in the vicinity. Ian
