Happy New Year everyone!
Great start with lovely captures of our pair ... but mighty strange about that 'third' one ... maybe a late 'first footer' Lol!
Good to have some colour Scylla, hope you are continuing to improve!
Gales seem to be a bit of a fixture just lately, another blow overnight promised here, stay safe all!

Good morning Kate
8:43 Into the box, it could be the juvenile male but I haven't been able to catch its tail feather markings
8:50
Very pale tail
9:09
9:35
Certainly no tail view in this one ... Owl on a stick!! Lol
Ah good, has moved to show us his unusual feathers
Not sure if this is Mrs on side of box, think she may have been here all day if it is.
Hi Kate, looks to be Mr Pale-tail after he left the box
Have moving pic again now ... is it still him beside the box?
Thanks for the pics and vid :)
20:05 He's still next to the box, not making a sound - yet!
20:39
Approx 20:42 He went into the box
20:44
20:45
21:05 He made a single loud rasp which made me jump! lol
21:10 Giving an occasional rasp now
21:13 Playing with a feather
21:20 He left the box when he heard, and responded to, the juvenile female outside the barn
21:21 Left the barn but both are rasping
21:25 Only the one calling now
22:00 It's been silent for the past 5 minutes
22:05 Distant rasping
22:42 Food delivery outside. Juvenile male brought it into the barn (tiny prey). Eating on the back ledge. 22:44 The female juvenile came in - lots of rasping between the two of them. Both out of view 22:46
22:52 Only one rasping now, none on view
22:56 Another delivery and again brought into the barn. This looks larger. Flew under the beams and took it to the back ledge to eat
23:03 It left the barn after what sounded like another food delivery to the other juvenile
23:05 Juvenile female in with prey to the tray. Flew off with it to the back of the barn, out of view.
23:15 Juvenile male in with prey now, onto the tray. She came to see what he had, he went to the top of the box and then flew to the back of the barn. She flew to the barn exit.
23:20 Rasping continuing close to the barn. Really good to see some food deliveries this evening. Goodnight
RSPB site back up now, they must have had a 'Server' problem
14:35 Both juveniles have been in the barn/box since first thing this morning
Back on the RSPB site, oh dear what a difference!
Hi all, sorry for replying to a post that is 10 months old but even after clicking on "newest" I can't see any posts more recently than 10 months ago & haven't had any notifications of CBO posts today. In the forlorn hope that this kick starts the CBO notifications, I can report one on the front beam. Ian
Oops! where is the end and I was going to reply to Sandra
