I can just picture the six of them rampaging around Wellesley when the ravenets have fledged! What a sight that would be.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

I was just watching Pauline fly off the nest and hop to her post, so graceful are the raven's hops - I love that. The ravenets are watching their parents carefully now as they fly about.

Here is a clip of Henry on the railing and Pauline arriving with food (or vice versa) for the youngsters. I switch to the closeup of the nest - they are active and loud now.
Midmorning nap.
One ravenet actually ventures out of the nest into the corner where Pauline joins and perhaps convinces to get back into the nest since the next time I look, all four are back in the nest and she is at her railing post again.
