hi there
The weather is bitterly cold at the moment.
Has anyone endured any more of the white stuff.
Her is my garden at the beginnin gof this week
The snow flakes where huge, then we had a loud pelting hailstorm to boot
Will it ever end - just want to feel the warmth once more.
Ths size of the snow flakes in picture 2 where something else.
Regards
Kathy and Dave
Hi Blackbird,
We have been lucky here no more snow, but very cold, like you i wish it was spring,to see a blue sky would be nice.

Hi Kathy
We've had a sprinkling of snow but not big flakes like you had :-(
At least the daylight hours are getting longer by the day.
Best wishes Chris

We've had little else other than lovely sunshine :-)

Same with me sunshine.... lovely...
Here in E. Sussex, we woke up to 6" of snow yesterday. Very slight thaw this afternoon, but still plenty of the white stuff around. Just had a slight snow shower. Wish it would all go away and Spring would hurry up!
Hi blackbird
Yeah I've had lots of snow, but thankfully it only lasted a day, we had some big hail stones as well. its all gone now, its raining at the moment, my garden covered in blackbirds again, two magpies 17 blackbirds, one songthrush, lots of sparrows, robins, greenfinches, and goldeis.
Hey farmer, farmer, put away the D.D.T now. Give me spots on my apples, but leave me the birds and the bees, please!
A few flurries, but nothing settling! Been bitterly cold though! Not officially spring until 21st March so plenty more cold/ice/snow to come no doubt! Met Office have weather warning for potential heavy snow for much of the UK again next Tuesday....

I get the feeling we will all be talking about this winter, long after it is over & done with. (& I too, wish it were over & done with!) Still as someone has said, at least the days are getting longer now.
No snow here, but cold. As folk have said, we must be grateful for the longer days. Let's hope we are rewarded with a lovely summer.
Cheers, Linda.
