Did anyone see RSPB Arne on Countryfile with the lovely Ellie Harrison and some equally lovely reptiles? No? well I would recommend catching up on i-player!
Also Chris Packham was on top form in the Secrets of our Living Planet: the Emerald Band showing the complex relationships that underpin the tropical forest eco-systems, well worth a watch, the next installment is on grassland ecology (24 June BBC2 8pm).
Natural World: Unnatural History of London was also great viewing and focussed on London's wildlife, native and exotic, and the relationships with the human landscape.
If you can't bear the tension of watching the football this evening then these options on i-player might be worth considering!

That 'Unnatural history of London' was fantastic! A real eye opener!
Have recorded the Secrets of our Living Planet but look forward to watching it!

I saw all three and all three were superb productions!

I've recorded the Countryfile programme and will watch it later.
I watched the other two live and both were excellent and informative. Next time I go clubbing in London I must be careful not to fall down drunk in the gutter or I might find I'm sharing it with scorpions. LOL

I have watched Secrets of our living planet, it is a really interesting and informative programme, and Chris Packham presented it so well, brilliant. I will certainly be watching next week!!!
Thought Chris Packham came across very well on this programme, better than on Springwatch.
