A new wildlife series starts tonight at 8pm on BBC2.
Chris Packham explores different eco-systems, starting with a tree in the Amazon.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Whoops, sorry all, meant to post under wildlife on the box!!
Mods, feel free to move this!
I thought that was a good programme. I dont always like Chris Packham's presentation but that one did hold my attention.

Yes, I thought it was good too. Enough science to be informative, but not too much to put off an ordinary person.
The inter-dependence of the brazil tree, the orchid, the agouti and the bees was absolutely fascinating!
A very thought provoking programme, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Roll on part two.

I enjoyed it. The programme took a very different slant to the usual wildlife series by showing the interdependency of animal life and plants. Some of it I guess we knew but the brazil tree stuff was an eye opener.
I thought that Chris Packham did a good job of presenting and gave you confidence he knew what he was talking about. Not quite David Attenborough but getting there.
