Hi All
The popular BBC wildlife series ‘Springwatch’ is back and will be live from the RSPB’s Ynys-hir nature reserve near Machynlleth in mid-Wales this year. It will be coming to you on Monday 28 May and the webcams are now live.
Check them out.
We hope you all enjoy the show for the next few weeks

Why not check out the news from the wildlife enquiries team?
Yes, I too feel sure that I have seen treecreepers filmed in the same position on SW before.
PS. But perhaps even new activity feels like deja vu, even though not part of daily life......
My favourite was the ladies garden with all the cameras,
I have to agree.. What a lovely garden and dedicationand innovation from her. A camera has gone to the top of my Xmas present list ...... or my very own laptop would be really good lols!
Err... voice in my head just said "Dream on ...."

This is why.......
Love the proverb. Thankyou

Great to see that the team have got through the worst of it and will be back on the air tonight. Awesome effort with the web cams too!!! I've had the barn owls on in the background whilst i've been working and they started hissing at something all of a sudden, nearly fell off my chair in alarm! They've settled down again now!
If we hear any gossip before the show i'll try and fill you in but i'm guessing the dyfi ospreys and the unprecedented events of the weekend will be the main talking points...

Sorry Ian but I nearly fell off my chair laughing at that! ;-)

Marjus, i'm getting used to the hissing now! Great watching them snoozing though!
Just thought I'd bring your attention to the blog post from Russell down at Ynys-hir regarding life after the biggest summer deluge the area has seen, link below;
