This programme is worth a watch to show how wildlife crime is dealt with between the Police and the RSPCA.

This show is from a while back, but still it shows what goes on when it comes to wildlife crime...and the illegal use of airguns

A family of Swans are shot at Gateshead. The male ,and 3 cygnets are shot by an air-rifle. The female Swan survives.

The last 5 minutes of the programme shows what happened to the Criminals who where caught for this vicious crime.

I am sure that people who are local to the area will remember this 'heartbreaking' story if they stay in the area.
