Hello everyone,
Well we are nearly there! With less than 4 days to go, who is excited about Springwatch? We here at the RSPB cannot wait, as this year it is coming from our beautiful reserve in Wales, Ynys-Hir. So why not check out the reserve homepage, Blog, and forum to chat about Springwatch with the RSPB. For the next 3 weeks we will be chatting about Red Kites, Herons, Little egrets and Pied flycatchers, to name but a few. So come and join in!

Hi Tom
I so agree with you, Tom, I have to day that 'Brann' was the star of the show {huge smile]
'Brann' was so on the ball and not a bird to miss a track... or any tricks LOL
What a beautiful boy!!!

This week they have really pushed the envelope on their corvid coverage, nice to see them being appreciated :)
It's both what you do and the way that you do it!
You cannot fly like an eagle with the wings of a wren. William Henry Hudson (1841 - 1922)
Brann the Raven for Prime Minister.
Another that loved the Raven. The sounds from the sea were fab as well!! Got the 1st 2 but not the cod - not sure anyone would!! Lol

Excuse wobbily dyslexic spelling!
Brann was the highlight of the show for sure! What a beauty!

Well I hate to finish on a 'downer'.... but what on earth was Chris Packham thinking of (and the BBC for that matter!) showing a 'game' of stoning bats?????? Whilst I know Chris would have absolutely no intention of hurting the bats of course, there are many (too many) idiotic brain dead people out there that are likely to try this and actually hurt the bats! How stupid to show it!
Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed the series as ever! Shame Kate won't be there for Autumnwatch... but looking forward to it already!
