Hello everyone,
Well we are nearly there! With less than 4 days to go, who is excited about Springwatch? We here at the RSPB cannot wait, as this year it is coming from our beautiful reserve in Wales, Ynys-Hir. So why not check out the reserve homepage, Blog, and forum to chat about Springwatch with the RSPB. For the next 3 weeks we will be chatting about Red Kites, Herons, Little egrets and Pied flycatchers, to name but a few. So come and join in!

Why not check out the news from the wildlife enquiries team?
Last show this week, are we ready to say goodbye to Iolo and those Puffin's and what upset the barn owls?
SHould have guessed.......
It's both what you do and the way that you do it!
You cannot fly like an eagle with the wings of a wren. William Henry Hudson (1841 - 1922)
Last week of Springwatch 2011, what has been happening with the buzzards, any more unusual prey items, will the wood warblers fledge and what is liz Bonnin going to get up to this week! BBC2 8pm!
Highlights so far?
Warden Intern at Otmoor.
I really liked seeing the beavers, but my highlight also has to be the Grasshopper Warbler. It's by far the longest I have ever seen one for.
Even my OH has enjoyed watching it. Can't wait for tonight's episode :-))
Best wishes Chris

Me too
Like everyone on this thread, I am really enjoying this years programmes at the moment. The BBC have really got to grips with much more information about many more different species
One of my favourite articles is the buzzard - and I love seeing how the birds manage their lives as they do.

I'm excited....they were in my neck of the woods briefly tonight; at The Labrador Bay Reserve (3 mile from me !)...and they interviewed Tony Whitehead, who Dad knew & did RSPB stuff with...and they showed the lovely little cirl buntings at the reserve ! It doesn't take much to get me excited does it ?!
are we ready for the last springwatch unsprung? The past 3 weeks seem to have flown by!?! Can't wait to see how the barn owl's are doing!
How impressive is Brann the Raven on Unsprung!? Just goes to show how intelligent Corvids are!
