Hello everyone,
Well we are nearly there! With less than 4 days to go, who is excited about Springwatch? We here at the RSPB cannot wait, as this year it is coming from our beautiful reserve in Wales, Ynys-Hir. So why not check out the reserve homepage, Blog, and forum to chat about Springwatch with the RSPB. For the next 3 weeks we will be chatting about Red Kites, Herons, Little egrets and Pied flycatchers, to name but a few. So come and join in!

Just finished watching the first episode of springwatch as I was on a late shift for work. Cracking beginning to it this year, and for me, springwatch brings new excitement for me to watch it now I have such a passion for bird watching and photographing them. The Redstarts, flycatcher, and BoP look amazing!
I have also sorted out my flickr account, and hoping to upload a for of my shots to their dedicated page on there for wildlife. I have added the link to my profile page (but there is only one photo on there as it was a test) if you want to look.
Bring on tomorrow night at 8pm :D
Kind regards
As usual the first of the series was a cracker and no doubt we will be well entertained and educated over the next 3 weeks. My only complaint was that it clashed with the second half of Bill Oddies programme about 100 years of wild life filming on BBC4,we watched the first hour and it was interesting and I have to confess to being a Bill Oddie fan (are there many of us still around?)My be repeated later,I hope so.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
I pressed the red button at the end & watched the viewers photos for a bit. There were some very nice ones indeed but not that many on there yet. Think we should get busy & add a few more before tonight. Got any on there yet Chappers ? What should we be looking for of yours ? Do you need a flicker account to post them on there ?
Thoughroughly enjoyed it, passionate proffesionals enthused about wildlife (well done Charlie hope the beer was good!)
It really is the best thing on TV (in my opinion)
Seaman, Bills programme's on the Iplayer (I didn't see that so shall have to watch it too!)
