hi there
You have to watch One show tonight

You might have to wait a while for the I-player to function LOL
Mike Dilger looks at Starlings lives and their cheekiness - are they bright - yes!!!!
The programme looks at Starlings, and their fabulous flight patterns in the air (Dave and I saw them at their best a Leighton Moss and worth it anyday)
The famous talking 'trained' Starlings from Autumn Watch are back as cheeky and talkative as ever
So cute and lovely to watch
Regards
Kathy and Dave
I saw that earlier on the box as well Blackbird, they were so cute and cheeky. I couldn 't believe they trained them to speak. Excellent birds.
Feed The Birds....not the cats!!!!
I know....my spelling's crap !!
Yes I saw it too. They are amazing birds

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

They don't need "training" to speak! They're natural mimics and pick speech up as easily as flying.
This is my starling, Indy, talking

A closed mouth gathers no foot.
There was some great shots of Starlings, not sure where the big flocks were filmed,it may have been the Somerset Levels, but it was quite spectacular.
