Hi there
I watched Johnny Kingdoms programme tonight and I really enjoyed his mad cap humour. His mind was a buzz and it was trying to keep up with him. He likes to keep himself well disguised with his hides etc...
Members of my other bird Forum said it is repeated from last year so it is not a new series at all
My favourite clip was the Wendy house with the 15+ Wrens sheltering was something else in 2009 (pity it was not the same for 2010) Loved the Mistlethrush looking after his berry tree too - that bird was not going to let anyone near his food and his patch.

I'd definitely seen some of it before but there were bits I hadn't seen. Perhaps I was putting Charlie to bed when it was first on.
I'd love to be able to do what he has done and buy your own bit of land to do what you wanted with. I could spend months in that hut. Bit of food, a few cans of beer, my bat detector for the evenings and camera for photos.

I'm not bald. I've just got ingrowing hair!
Hi Stoat
I know what you mean about our dreams. If only we could get involved with wildllife 24/7 of our lives. Go out the door in the morning set up lots of bird boxes, and everything wildlife related and be there all of the time!
Then live our lives through writing wildlife books and appearing on the TV for our wages.
It would be the best thing ever to happen to a wildlife lover.
Just the best to de-stresser ever to divide us from our hectic everyday lives.
The programme is on BBC I-player on the link in post one, and it is on next week too.
Regards
Kathy and Dave
