Hi there

Just been watching the back end of 'Coast' on BBC 2 at the moment.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...ork_to_Dublin/

http://www.wexfordwildfowlreserve.ie/wildlife.html

There was an 'short' article about the White Fronted geese noted at Wexford wildlife Reserve. Ireland

Interesting to hear about the numbers of the one species of Greenland White Fronted and White Fronted geese there

The article is within the last 30 mins of the 'Coast' programme

Regards
Kathy and Dave

Wexford slobs has beena  great place to bird for decades:)

You have to find your own birds in southern Ireland because there arent many birders :)

    Hi Seymours

Really - no birders - well that is a surprise.

White Fronted Geese - do you get them in Norfolk anywhere?

A great place for birding too as a circular coastline on an island that is there and easier to get to than the UK has to offer.

I have heard of Ireland having no Great Spotted Woodpeckers - does that still apply?
