Aye folks
The sun was shining today but temps in the shade were still in single figures so needless to say I still had a jacket with me.
Saw some great birds But with the camrea I have Im not that good at taking any photos of them yet It has no Vuefinder just the screen on the back .
Anyway here are a couple of photos . The one of the heron was Didgiscoped (Camera works good on that)
Cheers

Hi Al,
At least youv'e posted some pics Lol :-) Herons are always good for a pic I also like your blossom pic.I never use my view finder on my camera, strange I know,I take all my pics looking at the screen, for me personally I find It easier.

What a lovely sunny time you had Al, and what a nice park you went to.
Like your blossom.
Great to see some photos of yours - very nice they are too. Glad you had an interesting walk, and the heron is great.
I also never use the view finder on my camera. I always use the screen - it's bigger!!!!
Cheers, Linda.

Really nice AL, I love the first one, there's something about photos of rivers that I find quite calming. What are the birds in your last shot on the fallen tree?

Thanks folks Im glad you like the photos :)
Kezmo they are Herring Gulls on the dead tree..
The park is a 10 minute walk from my house we get everything down there as there are plenty of untouched bits of it . (nobody realy wants to walk through the bogs) Which works great for the wildlife down there.
I did try to get a photo of the Treecreepers but they just to darn fast lol ...
And to think 30 years ago Nothing would have survived in that part of the river because of the papermill and the Crombie Mill (used to make the Crombie coat) But since Crombie closed down and the paper mill cleanedup its act we have more wildlife there than ye can point a camrea at .
Its wonderful
Your photos are great AL especially the blossom - mine has all but gone now.
