Hopefully soon!
No to a Waxwing eruption this year?
Redwing just arrived on my patch.A week early.Spent the afternoon looking to no avail & then briefly spotted a pair on some grass next to my home! Rubbish snap of one here.It was rather dark so will have to post better pictures later on.
edit. Dont think there will be an eruption this year.I had loads in the garden last year so aint so bothered :-)
I wonder why they didn't include Fieldfare - one of the most characteristic winter visitors.
Just got back from the supermarket and a flock of about twenty flew over "chucka, chucka, chucka-ing" away. First I've seen this year.
