Hello everyone! Autumnwatch live from RSPB's very own Leighton Moss begins tomorrow night, the moderating team are really looking forward to a week of wildlife on the box and we hope you too are, especially with those dark nights now upon us it is definitely something to enjoy!
We would love to generate as much discussion about the programme as possible on the communities, what do or don't you like, favourite bits, what could be improved on for next time and discussion about what you are seeing, talking nature is great fun and we can all learn something from doing so!
This will be the "official" page for talking Autumnwatch 2013, hope that's ok! The moderating team of Claire and myself will be watching every night and will be online as the programme is on and afterwards if anyone wants to have a chat or ask any questions!
Really looking forward to it!
Looking forward to this series although it is rather short again (only 4 nights...). Shall only be commenting the following days as no internet access out of work! (thank goodness I have it at work and can use it!!)

Looking forward to watching Autumnwatch as i've been to Leighton Moss a number of time and as i live in North East England, i regular go on holiday to the Lake District in Cumbria. I then always visit Leighton Moss and i have been lucky enough to have seen the Bittern standing at the reeds from the public hide.
Regards,
Ian.
I'm in the hotseat tonight. See you at 8pm and tune in to BBC2!
Thanks for the reminder Mrs T, will be glued to TV at 8pm and hoping they manage to get in some decent filming during this wicked few days of bad weather. Particularly hoping to see the Bearded Tits :) one of the many species on my to see "Bucket List" lol

So far i've been a bit disapointed with Autumnwatch Extra as theres not enough live pictures of the wildlife particularly from the hides and picture keeps going back to the presenters and also too much pre recorded items. I wish we could see continuish live pictures like in Springwatch and previous years of Autumnwatch.
Good points Thomo but when has there ever been a continuous wildlife programme running all day long?! It's gotta be better than Loose Women or Cash in the Attic!
Well I have to say I love the programme, and think there is a good variety in the programme and always find it really interesting in every aspect!! The presenters are great and they all do a brilliant job. I will be glued tonight at 8pm anyway :)
It will be interesting for it to be broadcast from a site I know quite well,no doubt I will be my usual hyper critical self.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Hi Seaman,
I have not been to Leighton Moss, but hopefully will visit one day, we are quite a distance away living in Devon at the moment, but hopefully when we travel up North we will get chance to visit :)
