Well I bet my Title got a few of you thinking!
I popped out this afternoon with my OH, had a trip to Saltholme!
Pretty cold and not many birds about that I could photograph, we sighted some Black-tailed Godwits but only visible with bins.
I did however, capture this Male Wigeon in his full winter plumage.
I love these little ducks the colours are amazing.

Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
Hi Buzzard, just love those wigeon, such colourful little chaps. Thanks for telling me about your camera which you are obviously enjoying getting to grips with. Some super shots there.
My OH has a Canon EOS DSLR with all the big lenses etc and he does explain the technical side to me but though I understand what he is talking about I just can't seem to put it into practice somehow. I think I'll stick to my point and shoot ;-)
There is something new to learn everyday...

Fantastic series of photographs Buzzard. I must admit I do love seeing male wigeons and find I can just sit and watch them. Thanks.
WOW! Beautiful photos Buzzard. They are all brilliant but the first one is to die for. Well done.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
