I'm obviously in the same area as Graham as I see Autumnwatch on Thursdays, and Johnny Kingdom and Birds Britannia (BBC4) on Wednesdays.
The Radio Times describes Johnny as 'gruff but amiable, easily distracted, and with off-piste meanderings'. It also calls him 'JK Growling', but ends with the fact that he has an 'off-the-cuff, make-do-and-mend appeal to his shows that is impossible to fake'
Fortunately for me neither of us ever watches football.
